Uploading a new Product

Uploading a product to the publisher portal is easy once you know the steps! Follow this guide to submit your product for sale on jwpepper.com

To start uploading a new composition, log in to your account and click on the Upload tab in the top navigation.

 Step 1 – Add product files

1. Click the Upload button on your dashboard 
2. Drag and drop your files into the appropriate fields: 
   • Score: Upload the full score in PDF format. 
   • Sheet Music Parts: Add optional parts in PDF format. 
   • Web Thumbnail: Add optional an image to be used on the product view of our website in JPG format.  
   • Preview Audio: Add optional audio file to be used as a preview on our website in MP3 format.
   • Wrapper: Add optional materials, such as packaging PDFs. Used primarily if J.W. Pepper will be responsible for printing. 

        3. Click Upload to save the files

Step 2 – Enter Product Details

• In this next section, you will enter and select all of the information about your composition, such as the title, subtitle, description, composer, arranger. 

• Choosing the composition type will allow you to add additional details such as style, grade, format, price, publisher ID, and other product-specific details.

• Complete pricing information and add any SKU warehousing information.

• Add a YouTube Link if available

Step 3 - Complete Instrumentation information

• Specify the instrumentation details for the work, including:
  • Part names (e.g., Violin I, Flute, etc.).
    • If uploaded successfully Parts and Page count should be automatically applied, edits can be made to these if necessary
  • Number of parts per instrument
    • Will default to 1 each part, can be updated to reflect count received in full set. 
  • Additional files can be added if necessary before saving or moving to next step.

Step 4 – Review & Submit

• Double check your information for any mistakes or issues
• Click Submit
