Printed Sizes

When you're uploading your composition, the "Printed size" option is used to specify the paper size that best suits your work. This helps the print services department set up your score and parts for proper printing. Here’s a breakdown of the available sizes and their use:

• 7.25" x 10.25": Used for choral octavos.
• 8.5" x 11" (Letter and Landscape): Common for vocal scores and parts.
• 9" x 12" (Standard and Standard Landscape): Preferred for parts, but can also be used for scores with 20 or fewer instruments.
• 8.5" x 14" (Legal): For scores with 20 or fewer instruments.
• 11" x 17" (Tabloid): Used for large ensembles, like concert bands, orchestras, and big bands.

Covers and Protective Jackets: These are printed on cardstock and in color.

Choosing the correct paper size is important for making sure your work is printed in the format it was intended to be.
