Printed Page Layout

Modified on Thu, Jan 30 at 9:42 AM

The "Printed Page Layout" option lets you choose how the pages of your music will be formatted for printing, specifically focusing on how the pages will be turned during use. Here are the two primary options:

  1. Booklet Layout: In this layout, pages are printed in such a way that when the booklet is folded in half, the pages appear in the correct order when flipped through (like a traditional booklet or music book). This layout is great for creating a cohesive flow when the music is read.

  2. Spread Layout: In the spread layout, pages are printed side by side so that two pages appear together when opened (often referred to as a "two-page spread"). This is typically used for large ensemble scores where both left and right pages are viewed at once.
